In case you’re wondering…
All jewellery within the MOJA range are one of a kind pieces and we usually only have single or limited numbers of certain beads, stones and artefacts. Even if we do have the materials to re-create an item, we are unable to make something identical in order to honour the individuality of each piece. However, we would be happy to discuss creating something similar if possible. Please get in touch and we will do our best to help you.
Request for repairs for items purchased under the MOJA Range (one of a kind necklaces) will need to be assessed on a case by case basis. Please note that some of the beads, pendants and artefacts that we use are many years old, and might not be able to be restored to their original condition if it breaks, cracks or chips in whole or in part, or if a component becomes dislodged. Also, due to the one of a kind nature of our pieces, we might not be able to replace a specific component with another identical one. Please contact us for any repair enquiries and supply us with pictures of the repair work required, and we will get back to you as soon as we can to discuss the best way forward.
We will not be able to repair a piece that has been previously repaired by another jeweller, nor can we repair items that we have not created.
Jewellery prices are currently in Kenya Shillings (KSh), but this will be changing in the near future as our online shop will be based in Australia.
Please note I am currently in a state of transition, moving from Kenya to Australia. Therefore, I are unable to process orders until further notice.
One-of-a-kind jewellery from the MOJA Range is securely wrapped and placed in a pouch. This, together with the information cards are placed in a handmade box made in Kenya. If shipping internationally, I may omit the box to keep shipping costs to a minimum, however I will still ensure the jewellery is packed securely. Jewellery from my other collections is also offered in either a fabric pouch or box and is accompanied by a product story card.
I am currently unable to ship items overseas as I am in the process of relocating. However, if you are overseas and would like to order an item, please email me and I will let you know if/when I can process and ship your order to you.
I am currently unable to take on wholesale orders as I am in the process of relocating. However, please email me if you would like to become a SHIKHAZURI jewellery stockist and I can give you a clearer timeline as to when I can work on your order.
Since items in our MOJA Range are one of a kind, what you see is what you will get. The same applies for our charm jewellery. Items shown within our other collections which use recycled glass trade beads are a representative selection of our current stock. Since each piece (including the beads) are handmade, there may be small variations in style and colour. While we have made every effort to display colours of the products as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary.
Some products may also appear smaller or larger than the image displayed on the site. However, we do provide dimensions of our jewellery in the product description section of each item.
If you have any questions prior to ordering, or to request additional photos, please contact us.
All of my jewellery is currently handmade by me in my home studio, although I have also collaborated with several independent Kenyan artisans on past collections. Find out more information here.
